Welcome To Life Guide Devotional

Hey, Welcome to the devotional section of our website. God called everyone to have a personal relationship with Him and that involves reading the bible everyday, figuring God’s plan for your lives. But many times, we don’t know what to read. The bible is so big, it’s hard to find something to read and meditate on. That’s where I come in. My goal is to help other teenagers find scriptures they can read and messages they can meditate on. Life Guide Devotional breaks down the message of the bible and relates it to regular circumstances. So please, study the Word of God with me as we grow together.

Living Faith

James 2:14-20

It’s easy to say, “I have faith.” it’s just three words and they mean nothing without works. When we became saved, we had to confess; we had to act on our belief in Christ. The same applies throughout our Christian life. Our faith is shown by what we do. When we say we have faith and run scared at every trial, what do we get by that? Hebrews 11:1 tells us that faith, not words, please God. The dictionary may classify faith as a noun, but for the Christian it’s a verb. Faith is an action that should be seen repetitively. When we pray, we pray in faith and then live with an expectation that we have what we asked. When we are faced with decisions, our choice should represent that we believe God. We shouldn’t have to tell people we have faith. They should see it in us.
