Psalm 149:1-150:6
I like to look at the psalms as a progression through prayer. First we have the first few psalms extolling God’s greatness and might. We have lots of supplications and prayers. The psalmists pray about all types of things, from enemies seeking to overwhelm them to their relationship with God. We have psalm 119 that deals with the value of God’s Word. You can find pretty much any prayer for any point in your life in the psalms. Then we get to the end and it’s all about praise. Because when it’s all said and done, we have reasons to praise God. He made us, He cares for us, He saved us and gives us a destiny. Both psalms 149 and 150 start the same way, “Praise the Lord!” I love the exclamation mark because it sets the tone for our praising. God inhabits the praise of His people and in our praise, we should desire to build the biggest, shiniest palace for our God. Let everything that has breath praise the Lord
Welcome To Life Guide Devotional
Hey, Welcome to the devotional section of our website. God called everyone to have a personal relationship with Him and that involves reading the bible everyday, figuring God’s plan for your lives. But many times, we don’t know what to read. The bible is so big, it’s hard to find something to read and meditate on. That’s where I come in. My goal is to help other teenagers find scriptures they can read and messages they can meditate on. Life Guide Devotional breaks down the message of the bible and relates it to regular circumstances. So please, study the Word of God with me as we grow together.
