Psalm 139:7-12
We know the story of Jonah. God called him to preach to a hostile audience in Nineveh and he got scared and he decided to run away from God. He found out the hard way just how hard that is. God knows everything. David acknowledges this in today’s scripture. He says, “Where can I go from your Spirit? Or where can I flee from Your presence?” This may seems scary but God’s omnipresence gives us two distinct benefits. First is accountability. Constantly battling the flesh is difficult even though we want to live righteously. Knowing that God is a witness to everything is a blessing because it makes us accountable in all our actions. I don’t want my mom to see me cheating a t school and I definitely don’t want God to see so I don’t do it. The second advantage is knowing that God is there when you call. 2 Chronicles 16:9 says, “For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him.” God is there for you anywhere because He is everywhere.

Hey, Welcome to the devotional section of our website. God called everyone to have a personal relationship with Him and that involves reading the bible everyday, figuring God’s plan for your lives. But many times, we don’t know what to read. The bible is so big, it’s hard to find something to read and meditate on. That’s where I come in. My goal is to help other teenagers find scriptures they can read and messages they can meditate on. Life Guide Devotional breaks down the message of the bible and relates it to regular circumstances.
