John 14:15-24
This is the simple distinction between believers and unbelievers. Jesus said it in the most basic way possible, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word…. He who does not love Me does not keep My words.” There are many people who claim to be believers but don’t do God’s Word. Jesus had a word for them: hypocrites- people who worship with their lips but their hearts are far from Him. The world likes to say, “Everyone has a vice.” We as Christians don’t subscribe to that. We don’t have a sin that we condone in our lives. David said, “Search my heart and know my thoughts. See if there is any iniquity in me.” We will make mistakes and miss the mark once in a while, but as Christians our lifestyle is based on the Word. The Word say don’t lie, steal, use foul language, cheat, get drunk, sleep around, etc. That means I don’t lie, steal, use foul language, cheat, get drunk, sleep around, etc. If we love Jesus, we keep His commandments.

Hey, Welcome to the devotional section of our website. God called everyone to have a personal relationship with Him and that involves reading the bible everyday, figuring God’s plan for your lives. But many times, we don’t know what to read. The bible is so big, it’s hard to find something to read and meditate on. That’s where I come in. My goal is to help other teenagers find scriptures they can read and messages they can meditate on. Life Guide Devotional breaks down the message of the bible and relates it to regular circumstances.
